Preparing your Abstract

  • Abstracts are invited both for oral and poster presentations.
  • Full author names and their affiliation(s) are mandatory.
  • The text should be limited at 250 words maximum.
  • All selected abstracts will be published in the Abstract book online and will be freely available for download.

 

Preparing your Oral presentation

  • Keynote communications should last 45 minutes and will be followed by 15 minutes of questions.
  • All other oral communications should last 12 minutes and will be followed by 2.5 minutes of questions. About 30 seconds will be used for transitions between successive speakers.
  • Presentation format should be either pdf or power-point. We recommend using 16:9 format.
  • Please bring a copy of your presentations with you on a USB stick. The name of the file should be formatted as follows: FAMILYNAME_firstnames_SessionNumber
  • You will be able to upload your presentation on the conference computer during breaks each day. Those speaking on the first morning sessions should upload their presentation the day before, or at the latest 30 mins before the session starts. Uploads will be allowed from registration on September 22nd.

 

Preparing your Poster

  • The poster should be a visual presentation of your submitted abstract. The poster should look visually appealing, easy to read and contain key information about your research.
  • Size: Format A0 – Height 118.9 cm / Width 84.1 cm - The orientation format of your poster must be portrait.
  • Posters will have to be setup on friday 25th 8:30 AM-9:00 AM. Please be on time as the poster session will start at 9:00 AM sharp. Clips will be provided to set up your poster. Please bring your poster already printed, as there will be no printing services available on site (however, a number of companies located within the vicinity of the conference venue provide printing services, e.g. COREP-Lautman). You may also wish to produce a handout to accompany your poster.
